Week 2 - Mini Easter Basket

Ingredients: Daisy & Dandelion Some Bunny Loves You clear stamps, Easter brads, silicone bun case, 3cmx14.5cm piece of card, Stampin Up scallop edge punch (or similar), Stampin Up oval punch (or similar), silicone glue, pokey tool, acrylic block, ink, embossing tool & mat, decoupage scissors, colouring pencils & chocolate

First take your 3x14.5cm piece of card stock & use your scallop edge punch on both sides.

Now ink up you "with bunches of love..." clear stamp (I have attached to an acrylic block & used black ink) & stamp it onto the centre of your scallop edged card. This will be the handle.

using your pokey tool poke a hole through the silicone bun case & your card. Repeat again on the opposite side.

Now poke your brads through the holes to attach the handle.

Stamp the "I love chocolate" clear stamp onto card stock (my card matched the handle) & punch out using Stampin Up oval punch (or similar)

Ink up & stamp the 2 duck images onto some white card stock

I have coloured the ducks using 3 different pencil crayons which I first tested on the corner of the card stock. For this months tutorial colouring techniques click HERE

Cut 2 of your ducks out & save the other 2 for next week!!
I have cut mine out with decoupage scissor, but use what is most comfortable to you

Now using your large embossing tool, with your image face down on your embossing mat. Make circular movements untill your image curls up

you can hopefully see on this picture that the duck is now slightly curved. This will help it curl round the silicone bun case.

Using the silicone glue, dot onto the back of the "I love chocolate" & the 2 ducks.
Sticking them to the side of the basket.

Fill your basket with chocolate, eggs or sweets.

when finished it will look something like this....yummy!!
